Date: 2012-04-13 12:11 pm (UTC)You pushed so many of my buttons that it felt like you had a manual. Michael and Seward (JOHN! The moment Michael uses "John" for the first time and the names switch in the narrative <3)! And the fantastic secondary characters: Sarah! Dr. Parrish! Millie (my favorite)!! Your characters were real people!
You had a solid plot and a great ending (I wanted to hit some reason into Margaret but I found it perfectly reasonable how you ended that storyline). It was a delight to see them all at the graduation ceremony.
So many scenes I loved. The descriptions of tending to the gardens. The exotic atmosphere in the baths. Oh, and Michael telling off Stewart and that it actually made a difference.
I could go on for pages.
So long story short: very well done! And thank you for my birthday present!
